The story of St Mary of Egypt is a powerful one for you and I. It is a story of disposition to harken to the Will of the Almighty and merciful God. He has His arms spread out on the Cross of His Only Begotten Son, for a very warm welcome to each and every one of us. Ours is simply to make up our minds for a metanoia (a change of heart) and accept the Divine embrace (Hug). To God be the glory for this grace of conversion to a one-time prostitute, now a Saint. I am certain beyond doubt that this story has led/moved many persons from despair to conversion. It is never too late, for God is patiently waiting; don't put it off, my brothers and sisters, please let us do it NOW/TODAY. Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam.
